Installation

Debian:

I started out with Debian Potatoe on three CDs. Later I upgraded with dselect to woody. The only thing worth mentioning is that you have to boot with CD 3 in order to get into the setup. It is the 2.2.19pci kernel. The other 2.2.19 kernels on the other CDs don't work. After that just follow directions

Redhat 7.2

The grafik install only works every second time so choose the text based one. And do not let the install configure your xserver. It crashes because the video hardware is not detected correctly.
